FRANCISCO JAVIER MEJIA

Francisco comes from a professional background in humanitarian interventions and small business development. He worked for seven years for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), where he designed and oversaw the implementation of income generation activities and micro-credit programs. He also led the fundraising and donor relations for UNHCR’s operations in Ecuador, Somalia, the Dominican Republic, and Myanmar. Francisco holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from Washington and Lee University. He is a joint MBA candidate at the Sloan School of Management and MPA/ID candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
