MBA (2016) | gena@mit.edu

Gena is having a blast as a first-year MBA student and a VP of Events for SEID. She rejects the theory that MBAs either dominate or save the world – these are not mutually exclusive options! Gena spent 3 years as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney across Canada, U.S., and Australia. She then decided to move to Kenya to work with Kiva in scaling their new microfinance lending model, enabled by mobile payment technology (#disruption). Gena is very excited to partner with Roohi in hosting events and speakers that bring different perspectives to the MIT Sloan community.
